this is a portrait (the second I made and submitted) of Ernesto Guevara.
If I remember well, I read a biography a while ago that stated the nickname "CHE" was given to him by his friends in Mexico because he would use that world (che) frequently in his sentences.

Anyway, considered my skills, I'm pretty happy with the result. (which doesn't mean it can't be improved).
THe thing I liked the most of the reference photo, was the smile: It made me think of a man that eventhough he had to deal with a lot of adversities and difficulties was still capable of truly laugh with the innocence of a child.

I used a charcoal pencil and a scketch sheet. Time.. i don't know, maybe 5 hours? You know what,
i stated executing times in other portraits before, but honestly, when I'm drawing, I kinda loose track of time.
Sometimes i find myself saying: "Shit it's late! I have to go! remember paolo, this is just a hobby!"
